Empire: Total War Message Board  

When ever I capture a city, after the battle the game crashes everytime without fail and it just makes me mad because I have all of these troops and no citys to capture wether it be a small battle or a large battle, like the one I just had at Koenigsberg. What the heck is going on here, and I am using the patched trainer so I don't know if that makes a difference.

I think it’s your PC. I just finished a 2 hour session. I must have used the cheats about 20 times. Game never crashed. Check your system specs.

PS I have the settings maxed except for resolution.

I don't know about that because I have captured many cities but it just happened last night and I have an AMD athlon 3800 X2, evga 7800gt, 2gb kingston hyper x, asus motherboard(can't remember what model) it maybe a little old but the battles run good on the medium settings.
