The unlimited movement deactivates after 3 sec or so.. so u need to press the botton and select the unit before it deactivates.

Just got Empire Total War in the post, will install in next day or so, but just to let you know this requires a steam activation. (Which is better than a lot of DRM crap). It's a shame though as I expect you cannot install one licence on more than one PC at a time.
