Empire: Total War Message Board  

Finally completed the american campaign, but unable to play as America in the grand campaign. I know the grand campaign starts in the 1700's, but is it true that you cannot play as America? I thought beating the american campaign would allow you to unlock this faction.

Yeap you can, from the main menu just go back into Road to Independence and select the 4th chapter to play as the 13 United States in the Grand Campaign, it starts in the late 1700's though and you already have about half the tech tree unlocked.
