after updating my game whenever i try to use the trainer it doesn't work

Can multiple chaet options be applied to the same ship or groups of ships? Could I apply super hull, improved reload and increased ship turns to one group of ships?

The F4 Destroy enemy ship option doesn't work for me either, I activate it and click on enemy ship but when I click on the ghost general nothing happens, think an option to destroy ship is meant to appear to the side according to the readme but nothing shows up.

Ships need to be in view for 1 turn, then when option is on, click on the enemy unit. The info to destroy or make them an admiral comes up.
