the game is workin grand for the most part except when the videos are playin there glitchy and then the map itself wont show up in the campaign and the road to independence aswel......wtf is goin on>>>?????

Make sure you have the most recent driver updates for your gfx card and for directX. DirectX should have come in the game installation files though. If those don't work then just google "(enter your gfx card name here) problems running Empire Total war" and see if anyone else is having the same problem.

i tried both things you suggested but no change....the map is just not there i can see the labels of towns and all but the map itself is either black or its the screen that was showing when it was loading the campaign....

whats the specs of your system that you are using.
