What is the fascination with using AWSD keys when all keyboards come with Arrow keys which in 20 years of gaming I have always ALWAYS used.

Does anyone know what & where the file these keys are saved in & is it possible to change the key bind perminantly by editing the file.

For what ever reason you cannot rebind the Camera keys to the Arrow keys using the control option settings ingame.

The use the WASD because it allows you to keep your hands shoulder width apart I imagine. Also allows your left hand to access more buttons within a smaller radius.

I changed the numbers to what you have listed as follows:-
ScrollForward=38
ScrollBackward=40
ScrollLeft=37
ScrollRight=39

however the following do nothing.
ScrollBackward=40
ScrollLeft=37
ScrollRight=39

The only movement I gained was ScrollForward albeit only a little movement at that.
But I still appreciate you efforts
Mabe for some reason it could be due to me using a logitech G15 keyboard? & the keys are numbered diffrently?

Personally I have no idea if thats the case.

then must you these code keys search.(experiment with config.ini)
or g15 software.

Ok seems it was my mistake and the original figures you gave do indeed work fine with the G15 keyboard.

For some reason I had entered the number with a - infront of them so they would read
ScrollBackward=-40
Alls well that ends well.

all good and well for anyone who's right-handed. but did anyone in the games-industry stop to think about left-handed people?
we're not that small a percentage you know.. Lately i constantly have to tinker with games' config files because some a-hole decided one predetermined key setting is good enough and there's no need for people to use anything different.. Well company folks, guess again! Left-handed people aren't comfortable with the same F#@$*%& keys you like so damned much! Nor are many right-handed people come to think of it.. What does it cost them to leave the damn key settings unlocked so everyone can use any keys they damn please? Sorry for the diatribe guys.. Just venting..
