obviously interest for x-wing is rising again since GOG has released it (and other lucas arts classic) as a DRM free purchase. which is great.

i'm not sure whether it's possible to create a cool trainer for the old dos version of x-wing, but i'm holding my breath. to speed up the process i suggest that people who want a trainer spend some trainer credits on it, like here:

I almost had a nickerfit when I see these being released. Just dumped my store of 825 credits into this one, would be nice to see some more for the cause. Anyone have any idea on how to get the old plt editors to work?

your question about the plt editor: other than running this thing inside a dosbox i can't imagine a proper way of getting it to work.

you could possibly use these hex cheat hints to edit your pilot files manually (after effing up the website through google translator ) but it's a lot less comfortable and a lot more prone to making mistakes.
