Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Message Board  

First of all hi.

Well I write here because of something I noticed. Well for thoose gamers out there who play version 1.7 with Xfire, look closely when you play in ChinaTown map. When one of your friends is playing it says, in the server info, CoD 4 Multiplayer (Example) 20/36 mp_carentan.

I don't know what this may mean. In GameSpot Best Games of 2008 Awards there was something similar. The link directing you to see who won was www.gamespot.com/blablablafallout3...Yet who won ws Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of The Patriots...

I just wonder who made the mistake, Xfire or Activision. If it was Activision perhaps they were considering making another map...

OR maybe this only happens with my Xfire.

Carentan is the Ambush map as far as I remember.. It shows that on ServerStats and Xfire.. but Chinatown is not mp_carentan.
It's either your Xfire lagging or the Servers lagging.

No,Chinatown map is mp_carentan because it's same as CoD2 Carentan map and Activision probably didn't want to change mp_names so admins of servers could easily switch maps.
