I love it!! This game is great. The graphics were great in the first part (and its expansions), but this is amazing and it fits perfectly to the atmosphere of FEAR2. Some people say it's the same FEAR with better graphics but this is not true. I love it, especially the adrenalin pumps. I'm 23 so I don't have to be afraid of heart attack but maaaaan... And the story is

tbh i played and beat the first FEAR like 4 or 5 times in one week becouse i loved it... this 2nd part im playing it like 1 hr at day just becouse im corious about the story... but it is not as good as the first... there is no drama like the first, the action its boring, its easy... well, it is just another shooter... thats all... very lame, tom many time of waiting just to be dissapointed.

true the amount of scares is much less then the original and its shorter but its still one of the best games i got to play in years.
shame that is clearly a multi platform game (letterboxing and those quicktime events where you have to press specific buttons and the short time the game actually lasts) but i did like what i actually got.
the game actually worked right out of the box and that is very rare to see these days because normally games need 2 to 3 patches until they can be considered playable.
but i must say that i expect to see an expansion that continues the pointman's story so because of that i am more forgiving of the shortness of fear2 plus the tons of mods that will probably be made for this game.

I didn't mind the quick-time sequences so much. It kind of added something to the game, for me at least. I mean, its only natural to have to grapple with something like those quick wall-crawling 'zombies' if they jump at and land on you. Same goes for when Alma attacks you.
As for the game being short... yea, it was. But who cares? It's one hell of a game, no matter how long it is. I don't expect a shooter to give me 13+ hours of gameplay like a RPG would, it'd get boring after a while. And if you think about it, making FEAR 2's gameplay last as long as it does (and given it's ending) is a cleaver kind of marketing lure. Leaves us, the players, wondering whats gonna happen in the next game, and we go online (like this), post our guesses and things we might have heard somewhere and we generate all the hype the company needs to help market FEAR 3 if they decide to make one.
