Does FEAR 2 have a CD check? ie, do you need the DVD in the drive to play?

I believe its gonna have a form of online activation......not sure though, but i am getting the steam version.

It installs to Steam and doesn't require a CD-Check once installed.

So even the DVD Retail version will install to Steam?

If so that's good, I hate having to scavenge around for a DVD

to put in the drive just to play... such an inconvenience.

Now I just need to get bloody steam..
