Really late reply :| anyway, I had the same problem, it's because the game is supposed to work for XP only(don't ask me why :P) but there is a file that you can download and put somewhere in your swkotor2 folder.. I uninstalled the game ages ago so I don't really remember, search on Google and you might find something Hope this helped!
