Call of Duty: World at War Message Board  

In the scene where Roebuck and Polonsky were resisting by the Japanese, i shoot the japanese at polonsky side and then an explosion came out, and then Roebuck die, is there any way not to let Roebuck die?(Sorry for my bad english)

I don't think so...

I've passed game 2 times. 1st time Roebuck died 2nd time Polonsky died. I don't know how nor why but it just happened.

Maybe it depends on which Japanese do you shoot first.

Wow hows the video when Polonsky dies?

I never saw Polonsky die...Hows the video when he dies?

I've played 4 times, and it's always been Roebuck... How do you get it to be Polonsky?

I've only ever had Roebuck die.

I've played through the game several times now, this is what I've found.

Shuri Castle:

When I shoot the Japanese soldier wrestling with Polonsky, Roebuck dies.

When I shoot the Japanese soldier wrestling with Roebuck, Polonsky dies.

Also, the cutscene at the end will show Polonsky or Roebuck (Which ever one you choose to rescue) pulling the dog tag off the other.
