Peroblems with OP Anchorage on Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage PC Message Board - Page 1

er.....i'm having problems even getting the DLC to kick in. Does any one know how to get this to run?

According to the Windows Live web site all you do is download, run the game, (i am using a save game though) and wait for a couple of minutes and you should get notification of a beacon and then you can use the DLC.

So far, must have played for a couple of hours after downloading and get nowt, nada, zilch, nothing.....

all help greatly appreciated

Did you go in your FALLOUT 3 LAUNCHER and activated the anchorage in the data folders on your LAUNCHER

tried to - but the data files were not showing up.

I have noew been onto the Fallout 3 boards on Bethesda's own web site and managed to find some info and have now got it working......finally

use Fallout mod manager Link to activate it then use the "launch fallout" button on the side. Once running you have to get close to the outcast radio signal. (i think its near the citadel, it tells you when you find it.)

I have been messing with the same problem you are having.
Here is a couple posts that may help you. Havn't got me started yet.
And it does not matter where you are at in the game to get radio message. You are supposed to be in a saved game to get message. And you should see Fallout3.esm and Anchorage.esm in the DATA FILE option at the first screen when you start FO3. If not there somethi8ng is wrong.

hey Treker, I may be wrong about where you need to be to get message. But they said at Bethesda that it didn't matter. But I wonder. I got it to work--follow the posts I gave you and you should get it.

this is the correct way, but a little incomplete i suppose..

In short, install the game and then the expansion...Update the game to atleast 1.1.035 version (Otherwise the game won't detect the expansion)..Launch FalloutLauncher.exe; Go to datafiles option and tick both the files (Fallout3.esm and OperationAnchorage.esm) and play.

Now you certainly will get the notice....Play on...

on the info it says you have to enter the simulation pod, i asume it is that same pd were i save dad,i tryd to enter it again, but all i get is that i no longer have access
