Need for Speed: Underground Message Board  

I try to install NFS Underground but the autorun menu lists the game as NFS Most Wanted???! The game's not installed but it has the play option available and when i click to uninstall, it asks me if i want to uninstall NFS Most Wanted. I have NFS Most Wanted on the computer but its a separate game, what does the NFS Underground Disk 1 have to do with NDS Most Wanted! HELP!

The solution is easy, just rename the speed.exe in the most wanted installation directory to nfsmw.exe or something else. Now you can install NfS Underground easily. But do not forget to rename the nfsmw.exe in the most wanted directory back to speed.exe.

Both games have the executable named speed.exe. Therefore which game was installed first, the other one thinks it has been already installed.

Thanks, but I just uninstalled NFSMS and then installed NFSU. I was going to do it anyway. I'll be sure to take this into account when I reinstall it though. Again, thanks for the info, good to know.
