Call of Duty: World at War Message Board  

I am at shuri castle and have been told to call for airstrikes on the north buildings. I press 6, get the target circle, but no change in color. I press left mouse but nothng happens. I see a plane on the heads up display, but I am unable to call in airtsrkes. Can anyone help?

I get this as well - but then that is what you get for using a trainer...
The normal way around this would be to switch off the unlimited ammo option, then restart the level - as in the level where you have to destroy the bunkers with satchel charges. BUT - on this airstrike level, that didn't work for me. Just take off unlimited health, and do the level properly...

hell i got out of the trainer all togeather and just try to run it normal get the same thing except for getting my butt handed to me

I'm in the same situation but haven't tried turning the 1.4 trainer off yet and restarting the level. I doubt I can get to where I need to call for airstrikes without using the trainer. Can I turn off unlimited health and ammo just when I need the air strikes? Does the 1.3 patch instead of the 1.4 patch and respective trainer make any difference? Anything new on this?

Just read that there may be four holes you have to stand in. If so, I did one accidentally and didn't stay in it for very long.

Ummm... If this is all a trainer problem what are the chances of getting the trainer fixed quickly?

I'd try turning it off and having a go. I think you'll need to turn unlimited health and ammo off before you start the level and i don't think the patch 1.3 trainer will make a difference since this bug occured to me using all versions with the version trainer with them.

I don't know anything about the "Four holes", so i can't help you there

I doubt its a trainer problem and i doubt it will get fixed even if it is. Chances are they won't update it for one mission. I would reccomend just using the save you can get from the "Save Games" Part and using it and skipping that level and continueing from the level ahead of it, that solved my problem

To beat this you must restart the level, I only turned on infinite health and it worked fine. I have a feeling the infinite ammo, no reload, infinite grenades, cause it to mess up. This was the only way I got it to work, hope it works for you guys, I wanted to beat it without downloading a savegame.
