Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Message Board  

I notice that the trainer description does not specify whether or not it will work with downloaded versions of RA3 like it does for Fallout 3. Does anyone who had downloaded RA3 have problems with trainer? I would be assuming that you are using most current version of game and trainer.

As far as I've seen, there is usually no real difference between a downloaded and retail version of a game, save for the obvious one, so the trainer(s) should work fine. If you got the game through Steam, though, I can't say if it'll work or not since I don't use Steam for anything other then Half-Life 2.

I have the latest updated version of the game and the trainer to match the version, but I constantly get "trainer cannot find the game" when trying to activate it at the main menu of ra3

trainers tend to look in the most logical and often default place that a game will be installed to i believe, so downloaded games such as ones off of steams do not install into that exact directory and may have a different process name then the originals so the trainer may not be able to find it.

i tried all the trainers in cheathappens and non of them worked!!! all though my game version is 1.00
what should i do ???? 🤔

patch your game to 1.04 or above

I have the EA downloaded version patched to v 1.06 (that I paid for) and it works fine.
