guys any news on GOW2 being ported to the PC anytime soon?

Nuh i dont think there gonna have GOW2 on it but they have GOW im quite sure man.

yea...i know there's GOW for the PC..i've played it over and over again. its awesome. but...i was just hoping they'd release GOW2 for the PC too.

sorry to spoil your day but gears of war 2 WILL NOT be coming to the PC.

From Epic games a few months back Cliffy said flat out that Gears of War 2 will never come to the PC (through them)

Now if microsoft wanted to they could try to convince epic to let another company port it or they could try to pay them to do it. but as it stands right now Gears of War 2 will never come out for the PC.

And because Epic owns the rights to gears unlike microsoft it's basically up to epic in the end.

Unlike Halo where as microsoft owns the rights and whatever bungie says about the PC version doesn't mean ****.

this is really bad...don't those moron's know that the pc gaming market is the primary market to begin with. no matter how big the console gaming market gets...its never going to match up to the sheer volume of pc gamers. because pc's r in just about every home in the world...and it doesn't take much to start playing a game on the pc. where as for console gaming u not only have to invest in a console and really expensive console game dvd's etc...on top of that u also need to have a FullHD LCD to be able to really enjoy console gaming. so..u know...all u need to do is...do the math u thickhead moron's.

I agree. However Gears 1 had very lackluster sales and the massive complaints and only only above average reviews (to the 360's perfect reviews) made EPIC decide to ditch a PC version.

However, the reason for the above average reviews and massive complaints is because epic only made an above average port that crashed 90% of the time.

Lackluster sales were due to NO marketing what-so-ever and LIVE which at the time no one wanted.

Honestly in my opinion. **** EPIC. they gave us UT3 which is the worst UT EVER. I still play UT2k4 cause that was a real PC game. UT3 was just a ****ty PS3 port.

And gears is a great game and i did buy gears 2 for the 360 but only because i wanted the game. not to support epic. And thats why i bought it used so epic didn't make any money off my purchase. lol.
