Is there anyway to change a countries type of government? I'd like to change one of the countries to a monarchy so I dont have to worry about elections.

Hey, i think you should look up Supreme Ruler 2020 Wiki.
theres a lot of modding info on that page(but i think it should be more detailed).Most of the things can be modded in the game.
