I was wondering, why in the hell is Bethesda's third person angle always so damn awful? It was in Oblivion and now in Fallout 3. I mean it's so horrible, surely they could make it look better than it is. I know these games are meant for first person, but for christ's sake they need to fix their third person perspective.

Before Fallout 3 came out, Bethesda made it sound like the third-person view was going to be like GRAW 2 or Gears of War over-the-shoulder type view. Too bad it isn't like that.

I think Bethesda should have just thrown the 3rd person aspect away. I used it for about 5 seconds in Oblivion, and even less in Fallout.

Yeah, the feet slide across the ground or something. I mean it can't be that much harder for them to make it look decent.
