After I choose my gender and the woman stops talking, nothing happens. What do I do? I should be at my tenth birthday or something, but instead the man just stays there staring at me and all I can do is press E and cry!!! I don't know how on earth to get past this, so is it possible for a savegame of the tenth birthday party or something? Please?

sounds like you are at the one-year-later baby part. its just a basic tutorial about how to move and interact with objects, as well as where you set up your s.p.e.c.i.a.l. stats. just follow the messages that appear in the upper left corner of the screen.

It isn't your tenth birthday I think as phobos_9 said you are at the first "bookmark" of your life. Yes you will go to you tenth birthday and then the sixtienth I think. But if you can't get trough that you won't be able to shoot the BB Gun and kill an enemy.

I sometimes see a behaviour like this, where the game just waits at a cutscene. The only solution I have found is:
1: Save the game (Esc key should still work)
2: Load this new save.
The game usually progresses from that point.

Can you save as a baby after birth?

I'm away from home atm. Why don't you start the game and try?
