Game problem on Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 PC Message Board - Page 1

Whenever i load the game it comes to a black screen with a star on the top right corner and stays there. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Do you know if your graphics card can handle the game?

I got a nvidia 8800GTS so i doubt my gpu can't run the game

Have you let it sit there for a min or so? Most of my games sit there for a min or so before they start up, so i have the black screen for a while.

No cd fix?
Using trainer?

Biggest Question: What version are you running? There's a known problem with the game at 1.00. Update to at least 1.03 to resolve it.

Same happened to me because I had *ripped* version of game. In readme guy said that I should block game on firewall but since I didn't know how I didn't block it.

Anyway I've started the game and the black screen was there only for 10-15 seconds and main menu appeared.
