Dead Space Message Board  

I have an Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT. And I can run this game on the highest settings. And this game came out not too long ago.
But a game like SpiderMan Web of Shadows, my pc cant handle it worth ****. I think i have about a gig and half of ram and memory. So.. someone help me out here. Why does my graphics card handle amazing looking games like Dead Space, and not a cartoony-like game like SpiderMan Web of Shadows?

What is the problem you are having in web of shadows?

And word of advise i should put this one in the Web Of Shadows boards.

Oh, it's all skippy and stuff..and its almost unplayable of how much it lags. It's so aggrivating.

i have a geforce 9400 GT , and Dead Space runs like the shoe being thrown at george bush and games like crysis warhead and fc 2 run like **** cheney

dead space is unique , only v-sync causes the mouse to act really slowly , so i set the mouse sensitivity to max and now its really fun

nVidia GeForce 9600GT here. Runs smoothly on this end as well.

It might be that that other game is very poorly optimized.
Or may have a high count of objects in its scenery and then your CPU would be what's dragging the machine down.
