Call of Duty: World at War Message Board  

On the second mission where I hit the beach and I use the radio to call in rockets. Which I'm not sure how I did it? I know I pressed the number six, but how I got those rockets to fly is a silent but deadly one in a room full of people and no one is claiming it. So after I get up to the bunker with and without trainer running I press six not on the num pad. I press the right mouse button the left mouse button the one key which just switches weapons. I can not get the rockets to fly at the tanks. Tried the little circle on the tanks and inbetween the tanks, I have even pressed all the buttons one at a time still nothing. I hate when this happens, can anyone sugest someting and yes I patched it up to 1.1 and am using the right trainer.

Does this problem occure only when using the trainer?

With and without the trainer running.

Use the 6 which is above main letters on the keyboard.

and besides all those artillery barrages and planes are timed. 30 seconds I think.

Same problem here. I've used rockets twice earlier in the mission, and it worked fine then, but when the time comes for those tanks, the ability seems to have been disabled.

Reading around, this seems to be a well-known problem related to either the ammo option, or the life option. In the later case, it comes about after an instant death situation, like getting knifed.

Yeah I got knifed on the way to the bunker. I wonder if I took off unlimited health then saved game and then blew myself up with a grenade would kill this glich? Then reload saved game. Heck if I know but I'm going to try several things to see if I can get it to work.

Okay I got it; you can not get stab or attacked by a dog it screws up the game if you have the trainer on or if you are using the game cheats. I wonder if this is a trainer and cheats glich or a game glich. Cause fighting the Japs can get really hairy, they tend to pop up out of nowhere. Oh thanks for the info it helped me figure it out.

Mmm, replayed the mission without getting stabbed and had no problems. Most likely this is a case of the trainer creating instability in the game. You get stabbed/bitten -> you die, and everything is disabled/reset as you return to the last checkpoint. With the unlimited health option, you get to continue instead of going back, but the game still treats you like dead by disabling all abilities. Might be fixable if the trigger for this can be located and stopped when the option is activated, but...

Well, it's not that hard to play anyway. Just have to make sure you're not rushing forward blindly. Use the meatshields whenever possible.
