Left 4 Dead Message Board  

I got somme issues with my key bindings. when I change my bindings in th config.cfg, after the game was started, all bindings are reset to default.

Does anyone know a workaround?

if u aint solved it yet, once u'v changed the config file set it to read only.

I'm not sure that works from what I recall the game will remove the read only status and "fix" the config file. In case the read-only method dose not work make another cfg ex: your.cfg and execute it ingame whenever you want. I have a couple of .cfg files depending on the type of game I play

Make a new file in \Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\cfg and name it "autoexec.cfg"
Type all binds there, making the config file read-only will make it so that you can't change binds in game(They reset when you restart the game).
I know this is a bit of a late response, but perhaps it will help someone.
