I have a question about trainers and steam that is in the same vein as this topic. If I were to use trainers in singleplayer, non-VAC server or local server, will I still be getting achievements? I know that when I use console cheats, the achievements get blocked. Not sure about trainers.
Yes, you can still earn achievements with a trainer on. But like others have said, you're just cheating yourself out of the satisfaction of earning them the proper way.

yea i can understand that. just wondering about the technicalities, that's all especially wondering if it will cause an account to get banned/blacklisted etc in any way...
Trainers don't work in multiplayer.
So they can be used in single player without your account getting banned.
actually they do.. play local server with your friends.,. and you will see.. but.. do you get banned if you use on local server??
