Regarding the FAQ, FAQ/Walkthrough v2.3..

minionstats:
Can anyone explain how to edit it.I open it with a notepad i can edit it sure but i don't know what is what.. I just set everything to 200 or higher. I would like to make a construction worker the best minion in the game.I've searched everywhere for instructions but no luck .Can someone please explain...
I just need to know wich nuber edits what..

By the way I just noticed a mistake i made this has nothing to do with the FAQS on this site. I is just a mistake while creating this message.

Open the files with Microsoft office excel. This seems to be what VU Games used. That will give you specific unit stat headings. also when saving it will ask about keeping the comma delimited format, say yes. Also remember to make a backup of all files you are modding.

The problem is i don't know what is what. Everything is up. What is health and what is heat???

P.S. I USE MICROSOFT OFFICE 2007 DOES THAT MAKE A DIFFRENCE

I don't have Office. So what I did (and it seemed to work for me) is this:

1) Open the Resource Pak folder in the main game folder;

2) Open Resource folder;

3) Then Entity Descriptions;

4) Choose and open the folder which best fits the object/thing you want to edit, for the purpose of this thread its characters;

5) Next go to Minions folder;

6) Right click on desired minion that you wish to edit. Next, select Open and then select program from list;

7) Now, this is very important, when you are choosing to open with your desired program it is imperative that you uncheck the "always use this program to open this type of file" box. If you don't do this then Evil Genius WILL NOT recognise the file;

8) Finally, it's all there health, loyalty, etc. (FOV stands for Field of Vision).
