Need for Speed: Undercover Message Board  

How do you guys make trainers for the game so quickly? Are you able to get pre-release versions of the games, especially code related or dynamic variable related stuff? I'm computer literate, and know how to use CoSMOS and generic game trainer, but finding this stuff is usually time consuming, especially when the trainers that modify code.

Actually, once you practice it, trainer making isn't anywhere near as hard as it's cracked up to be.

I think they made something like trainer generator.
Where they just put in some offset's and cover of the game.

And i am sure it goes realy fast when you got skills :P

actually the get a copy of the game lot before the original release to check that it works fine or not

so they have lot of time to work and make a perfect trainer

or any word of magic by gandalf

i can tell you that we do not very often get the games any sooner than anyone else. neither do we have a 'trainer generator' program, lol! that would be GREAT! unfortunatly we have to do it just like they always been done. run the game, search out the code areas through trial and error, reverse the assembly, make the code changes, test, rinse, repeat..

it's not as fun as people think. i have boxloads of games that i never get to fully play. i am too busy cutting the guts of the games out and going through the headaches of reboots, replaying the same level 100 times, etc.

i am glad people think we make this look easy.
