i know thats not what these boards are for, but im currently runnint windows vista 32 bit i have 4 gig of high speed ram and a intel core 2 due quad core cpu, with a radeaon hd 3870 with 512 meg memory gddr 4. i have tried everything i can think of and thats quite a bit of getting this game to run smoothly with no lag and yet it still persists even on lowest graphics im getting crap frame rates so much so that its un-playable.
I have tried setting my affinity to 1 processor only as suggested in numerous forums also tried the boolprop tricks to no avail.
if anyone can help me out with this problem i appreciate it. thanks
Dj

Does your computer setup have a power supply that can give enough power to those hardware components to run at peak performance?
Your bitterness, I will dispel

yup it has more than enough juice, runs above and beyond peak performance on any benchmark to date.

I dont know if the issure is resolved or not but have you tried changing things like resolution I have a mega-rig for gaming with Vista Extreme! R1 but when I installed The Sims 2 I had to max my resolution and remove things like shadows and run it in XP compatability mode. Dunno if this will help you though.
You could also try patching the game, I think EA have a vista patch.
