The ending is a set up for Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl. Strelock is thrown on the dead truck.... the same one that crashes in the beginning of SoC. In CS you are the merc "the scarred one". You play Strelock or the "the Marked One" in SoC. That storyline (I'm assuming you never played it) is about how Strelock goes to the center AFTER the events of CS for seven possible endings. Clear Sky IS a prequel after all....

i never knew that CS was a prequel till like 2 days ago, that explains SO much... also when i first got thru SoC i got the "i wish to rule the world" ending so i was hoping in CS that he really did rule the world but as there are more endings and CS is a prequel, the "rule the world" thing aint gonna happen xD
