Need for Speed: Undercover Message Board  

heres is the money cheat:
you need:
2 pairs of hands
1 eye
and art money
Next:
1)Run Artmonry
2)select NFSU
3)go to Vanyls
4)Search your money witch "Byte Order: all" and 2 bytes
5)Buy Vanyl
6)filter until you have 2 adresses
7)change them to 30K
8)go to cars shop - japanese
9)buy a care that cost 0-30K
10)if value it those 2 adresses as your money,then set them to 30K and freeze
11) buy A LOT(30+ or more) of cars that cost 0-30K
12)when you are done,unfreeze thos adresses
13)sell all cars that you buy
14)repeat this process,when you have less than 30K (max 2 bytes value is 65525 (or 65535 i don't remember) thats mean,you can't cheat more than 60K with artmoney)

Well that didn't exactly work for me but here's what did:
1) Run ArtMoney
2) Select NFS Undercover process
3) Search for Exact Value: (your money)
4) Use Type: Custom and my money was stored in a 3-bit integer but it might vary, not sure, so I would select all types of integers just to be safe
5) Select 'All' for byte order
6) Keep buying stuff, selling it back, winning races, etc... until you have filtered down to 3 or so ( mine had 3, yours might be different)
7) Once you have the memory addresses you can change them to add money. For me, I found the limit to be round about $8,250,000

The values keep changing I found my address and when I change the value the cash goes to zero. I tried 30000 and always went to zero on all values changed.

Same problem here, I even had allmost $40,000 allready so I just tryed to freeze them, the moment I did that it went to 0, unfroze them and still at 0. Tried changing them to 30000 and still 0, lol. Maybe we are missing something?

How did you get the money up that high. Everytime I get around 40,000 it changes addresses and then I search again using the same procedure and it will not freeze the money anymore. I was also thinking that since the game uses the number pad to do different views when buying things it may be hard to create a cheat unless you move around the buttons or something.

Hmm...I was a bit further along, as I had about $150,000 when I used the hack but I don't think that should make a difference. I would make sure you are filtering properly. As I said I filtered it down to 3 reverse 3-byte integers. Then I selected all three clicked on "Set Value" and used 8250000 as the value as it seemed like anything above that resulted in seeing 0 in my money. After that, I went into the game and saw $8,250,000 cars...so I promptly bought 4 Tier 2 cars and saved the game without any problem. Maybe try just setting the value instead of freezing?

You know, it occured to me that it probably changes the address once you get to a certain value of money. 2 bytes can only represent decimal integers up to 32,768. 3 bytes can only represent up to 8,388,608 so that explains my problem AND yours. Since I did the hack when had $150,000 my cash was already stored in 3-byte memory. For now, try setting your cash to 30,000, buy a car, set the cash BACK to 30,000 and then sell the car and that should bump the memory location up to a 3 byte integer. Of course, after this you'll have to re-search and filter but then you'll be able to set your money up to 8 million or so (and you can repeat the trick to get to 4-byte memory but you shouldn't need to).

lol wow, this is kinda stupid, now my money is frozen @ $0... I tried to sell a car for $8,250 and it stayed at $0 Last time I froze the addresses I didnt unfreeze them before I quit the game and ArtMoney, would that be what happend?
