Call of Duty: World at War Message Board  

For some reason the cheats on single player do not work, keeps saying cheats are not enabled on this server. Thought that was only on multiplayer.

u gotta think half life type in sv_cheats 1

you have to use the devmap command then the map name
like: ( devmap ber1 )

nothing works.
started the game, opened console, type devmap oki3 nothing happend.

typed spdevmap oki3 map was loaded. typed sv_cheats 1 [Enter]

after that i typed god
"Cheats are disabled on this server"

2nd try started the game with parameters +sv_cheats 1
same result.

The cheats are not working !!!

hit the tilde key type in (devmap *mapname*) Map will load then open console once again type god (then enter) open again to type, "give all" once you typed all you are going to then proceed with the game and you will be a god or have all weapons and so forth.

Worked all just fine for me i dont know why it wouldnt for all that has been having problems.

So... what? Can't use cheats in Campaign then?


BTW - For some reason, the truck in the first mission never rolls down the hill. Anyone else have that problem?

NO the cheats listed on this site are WRONG. to enable cheats open the console using the tilde ~ key and type devmap mak then type god. NOT devmap map.

Ive been looking at various pages for some more info about the COD WAW cheats.
I found a decent guideline (*1), step by step, with an extra cheat included (*2).
I tried it myself and it works 100%.

(*1) Run the game from a desktop shortcut.
Enable the console from the options menu.
Press ~ (tilde) to bring up the console at the mainmenu. Type "devmap [mapname]" to load the level you wish to play. Once the level loads, bring up the console and type your desired cheat codes.

(*2) Give Ammo - Instant reload of all weapons & max ammo (including standard and special nades).
