Call of Duty: World at War Message Board  

I play with the trainer since the first mission, everything go well(all option on) until i reach "Shuri Castle" where we get inside and found 3 Japanese soldier pretend to forfeit, once our mates approach them to search they commit suicide. Then we have to hold the line from the hell storm of Jap soldier, not so long later we need to call an air strike by using "radio" to bomb the north castle.

I press 6 pull out radio and .. i CAN NOT call an air strike. I aim at the building but there is no green target to call. I aim around the map like pin point but still no hope.

First i guess mayb its the trainer so i TURN IT OFF, RESTART the game and do everything all over again. When i get to Air strike part it still no green target and i got stuck and SGT.Roebuk keep yelling at me use the air strike!!.

Anybody has the same problem or advise me what should i do?

Happened to me.
You have too restart that level without the trainer...
You must quit the game, DO NOT run trainer at all...load the game and play the level again, then you will get the air strike. When you completed the level, just save and exit and start up the trainer to finish the rest of the game.

yup same happend to me,and the satchel charges stoped working i had to set them off with nades.you cant use the trainer for the castel like captmoody said.you can use the console cheats like god , and give all and the radio will still work

The problem with that mission is with the trainer.
If you have reinstalled the game and played through without any cheats then I have no idea. Make sure you bomb the correct building ?
To solve the problem most of the time. Save & Quit. Restart the game without trainer, resume game, then Restart level. Save and quit again. Restart the game and play as normal. Just don't use the trainer for that level otherwise you will just end up being stuck.

That may be a longer process than necessary, but it worked for me and it worked for everyone else I know that had that problem.

I have the same problem. I guess i'll try it with the cheats and not the trainer. I also had trouble with one of the earlier missions when ur playing as marines and make a beach landing. I had no trouble with calling in airstrikes on the beach positions, but after you take the building with the two machine gunners in it and then the japanese tanks come. I had to replay the mission in order to call in an airstrike on those tanks, but i was still able to do it with the trainer. There must be something with the trainer conflicting with the airstrikes.

I am having the same problem. I can't call air strike and the sgt. keeps yelling like crazy. What's the trainer? How do you turn off the trainer?
