its a pathetic game i was so anxious and was waiting so eagerly for its release but after playing it BOOM! environments look extremely pathetic and dull and so artificial gameplay is also nt gud what a waste of money!

I like the game, I think it's very worth it. This is just my opinion though.

I think it's an above average game, in other words, a good game. But I expected a lot more from Ubisoft Montreal, they're a great game studio. But maybe they should just stick to linear sinleplayer gameplay, that's where I think that they really shine.
Mission feel a bit repetitive to me, and there's far too much walking/driving in my opinion. They could have integrated their own teleportation system: select a location on the map (for example, the APR HQ), and you'd be teleported to the front door where you can be inspected by the guard to enter.
I still would have liked better graphics, and the game feels laggier than Crysis does even though it looks noticably worse.
The AI could be optimized, it's difficult to get away from them, chasing after you in their jeeps. Speaking of AI, probably the worse thing about the game is that every time you get to a guard post, there are still enemies you have to take out, even after you've went through and killed all of them too many times to count. I also felt that the conditions of most of the weapons you pick up from the enemy AI is horrible. I think they'd have cleaned their guns out every so often. You can barely get off a few rounds before it jams.
The overall feel of the game is sluggish, and it takes quite a bit of time to get even a simple mission done.
Okay, enough ranting about the bad things of FC2. The overall gameplay is good, and the weapon purchasing system gives it a bit of an RPG feel, but that's good in my opinion. The graphics are good, and the character models are great. The plot is probably the best point of the game from my point of view. Your views on players and factions dramatically change as you continue on through the game.

I didn't even play Far Cry until a few weeks ago but I found this game intriguing enough to buy it. I like the game and will continue to play it.
One thing it does need is the ability to carry more than 4 weapons. I like the grenade launcher as weapon 2 and the large sniper rifle as weapon 3, but I need a close quarters weapon. I don't like the dart gun so I don't use it (needs a magazine that can be used with the no reload trainer feature, then I'll use it) and there fore I use the sniper rifle in number 3 spot. That leaves me with the heavy machine gun in the number 4 spot for taking on a lot of people. etc....
Anyway, I just need a weapon horde option like with the Crysis trainer and I'll be good. Other than that, great game. I especially like wounding enemies then setting the brush on fire.
Things never happen for a reason but there is a reason things happen.

Far Cry 2 is a mixed bag. On one hand, it offers some pretty intense and exciting moments of FPS fun and a beautiful African landscape. Sure it can't quite match up to Crysis graphically wise but it's still looks better than 90% of the games out there. The problem with the game is that there is just too much time spent driving around. It seems like for every 10 minutes of action there's about 30 minutes of driving. Now because the developers didn't want the game to be dull, they decided that while you're driving you're going to be attacked by mercenaries, bandits, or other enemies constantly. Now sure this makes the driving sections less dull but it's also incredibly annoying especially when you see Jeeps flying out of the jungle, running you down and killing you instantly before you even have the chance to react. Yes Ubisoft, we realize it's a war-torn Africa and that it's a shoot-first ask questions later dynamic. But it's very irritating to be attacked every minute or so as you're trying to get from one place to another. I think a more robust fast-travel mechanic (such as say in Oblivion or Fallout 3) would made Far Cry 2 a better game, even if it breaks immersion.
Still I still think the game is worthwhile as long as you are willing to spend a lot of time playing it as the single player campaign is damn long (I'd say 30+ hours if you include all the side missions). The multiplayer is so-so, but the single-player is the real draw of the game.

About grafics. They are good but there is one thing that i don't like:you can't see your knee's like in Crysis (Only when driving) . About the game. 1.I hate to go there here, there here(WHen getting or playing a mission) 2. You can't fight in a group (Only when someone is saving you). 3. you have to find daimonds wich are only 1,2 or 3 $. you only get 10 or 15 $ for a APR OR USS or how they are called? 4.Can't buy all weapons right after training. 5.weapons (of our enemies) JAM QUICKLY. 6.you must have a aspirine with you to not die quickly and health reganarates only on 1 bar and when you have only one bar he is pulling the bullet too long and they could kill you faster then you reganerate. And so on. But the game is not 2 bad as I saw it. 💛 🤔 😵 i like SMILES

it's definitely not a bad game. being a hardcore gamer i think it doesn't pay to be overtly critical of a game. the main purpose should be to enjoy the game and not try be a game tester....get with the story...feel as if u're a merc in africa. then maybe u'll see things differently. it's a fun game and most importantly....i'm having one hell of a time.
