    I noticed that armor is getting damaged and then can't be used..when its damaged is there a way to repair it? like can with the weapon?

    exactly like you would repair a weapon, just have another armor of the same kind and press r when looking at it, or pay a merchant to repair it for you.

    what I ment is like with weapons you can take the weapon you have in hand and it starts taking damage you can type player.setweaponhealthperc 100 and that sets the weapon you holding to 100% health...

    Well if you're going to use console commands, you might as well use TGM since it'll keep your weapons and armor at 100% constantly.

    I did that but when got enough damage to my armor it disappeared and couldn't use it again till I had it repaired..so it must not protect the armor or I did something wrong..

    must have done something wrong then...i've been using the same armor since i've used tgm (Vince's Longcoat...looks awesome lol) and its stayed at the same level so far

    was it already fully damaged before you used tgm? in that case maybe you have to get it repaired first...not sure tho

    oh.. in that case use player.srm <- brings up a repairmenu where you can repair all your stuff to 100% for free
