At the minute i'm a bit strapped for cash, when i get enough is it worth buying as i have heard some bad reviews on it saying its worse than generals.

I am a HUGE C&C fan and have got and still play the majority of the games. Will it play smoothly on my system

    Abit IP35 Pro
    Q6600 clocked at 2.7ghz
    2gb PC8500 Ram
    500GB HDD
    Antec Truepower Quattro 850W PSU
    BFG 8800GTX Overclocked
5:1 Surround Sound (think its rated at 1000W output)
as you stand, gun in hand, ready for the attack. The calm before the storm is broken...BANG...headshot from a sniper.
I wait in darkness until the opertunity arrives- picking my timing and position, seeing the whites in your eyes before the trigger is pulled and life fades from my opponents.

LOL um... are you joking?! Yes, you should be just fine running it. Just make sure your drivers and such are up to date.

as long as your on XP you should be fine.

If on vista, you'd need a bit more RAM to run it on max.

lol, 2gb is well enough for any Vista environment. (Except for running virtualization, rendering, CAD or similar. - But everyday use is no problem.)

Sure, more RAM is always better, but 2gb IS enough.

On a 32 bit Windows system, there is no point getting more ram as Windows can't detect more than 3GB of ram.

A 32bit windows system can detect up to 4Gb of memory edit:4-8 Gb memory needs 64bit which isnt complete for everyday use

Vista32 is able to see 4GB.

As far as XP32, technically, it can see up to 3.25 or 3.5 RAM, it depends on other variables in the system, i.e. how much RAM might be getting siphoned by your Video Card during game play etc.
