For a couple of days the 2.12.0 would not work for me either. I started with the smallest trainer from here and have worked my way up to the 2.12.0. For some reason you have to press the F1 several times to hear the activate. You also need to find the Monoliths in towns, if you activate one of them and the portal, you will go back to where you left off, if not you will not. Also F9 is suppose to save, I only used it this evening so do not know.

well thanks for your suggestion ,but it still doesn't work also f1 key in 2.12.0 is for weapon 1,tried removing the key but still no go. this keyboard doesn't have a flock.so i'll wait and see whaqt comes i also notice that the paatch was suppose to fix experiance which it did not. so as i said still waiting.have fun playing anyway.
