Hell, this game is still my top favourite C&C series besides Red Alert 1, it's among the best!. Too shame that the CD does not work properly with my com now.. it's damn too old (9 years or more).
God I miss old Westwood studio, too shame they've been ended up unfortunately with E.A.

yeah i know what you mean- this is the game that defined RTS games, so what the graphics were poor and not always easy to see, but those 2 games (GDI and NOD) inspired my all time favorite game series- and i think i have all of them (not quite sure got too many games to remember).
Yeah me too the first by EA was a disaster- generals was too easy, very few vehicles and about as much as watching paint dry, although to be fair EA has gone back to westwoods style sidebars, a set of good evenly matched vehicles and rediculus proportion and sure Tib wars wasn't brilliant but its still a great RTS
as you stand, gun in hand, ready for the attack. The calm before the storm is broken...BANG...headshot from a sniper. I wait in darkness until the opertunity arrives- picking my timing and position, seeing the whites in your eyes before the trigger is pulled and life fades from my opponents.

I love them all no matter who they are made by. If I enjoy it they get 10/10 from me.
