Considering the Strategy guide is 450+ pages long, there is no lack of content to make this game last 100 or so hours.
And that's 100 hours of what's already there! Just give the game about another year or so and there will be an overload of mods and addons that will add even more playing time. You've got to think. There are WAY more followers of the Fallout series than there are of the Morrowind/Oblivion series. Fallout fans have waited a VERY VERY long time for their game, and you know darn well that if only a handful of those folks ain't 110% satisfied that their game has everything in it and then some, they will be making mods, and GOOD mods for that matter. I can forsee new maps being created, new radio stations, new textures, new enemies, new armors, new weapons, new items, new skins, new armors, new EVERYTHING! Just imagine if Bethesda makes an addon campaign mod for this game that takes place in a post apocolyptic New York City! Would be AWESOME!!!
true but as i remember correctly you can still play on after you finish the main quest in fallout 2.
This is true. In fallout 2 after you finished the game you had the option to continue playing.
