There will be mods and add-on packs I'm sure. So glad Bethesda made this game!

one could hardly scrape the surface of some of the oddities in this game in 9 hours, some of the greatest things in the game are off the beaten path, example being one of the vaults, populated entirely by clones all named Gary## and all of them completely nuts, a talking tree, slave trading camps, a town entirely populated by children Ala lord of the flies. its allll there, the tricks just looking... and you know, having the 'show all markers' cheat (refer to other posts for it, i wanna say its something like aam 1)
The Sword conquered for a while, but the spirit conquers forever!!

9 hrs and finished??? I'm over nine hours into the game and for the Main Quest all I've done is talk to the bartender in Megaton and was told to go to Galaxy News, ....I've been doing side quests since....lol

(side note: This game is awesome!!)

    same over here.
i love to listen to the GNR and hear about what i did. (solving the problem in arefu, hearing about the empty town of grayditch, and so on)
i simply dont want to rush the main quest. i have the time (unlike in the other fallout parts, where there are timelimits involved in the story. at least in the unpatched version) and i love to find all the locations and sidequests and stuff you can do, that doesnt appear in your questlog. (anyone found the dunwich building and the story of Jaime in there?)

i think i will compose a map of all the stuff i found. =)

its so fast it can do an infinite loop in thirty seconds!! =)

Speaking of which, that Grayditch side mission was pretty intense! That queen ant was freakin HUGE!!! Reminded me of of the movie Aliens and the queen Alien at the end.
