i followed your instructions and renamed the fallout3,exe.cat file. when i went into the game all my sves were gone. they are still in the game directory but not in the game itselph.

I have an error whereby I've used the 1000xp button a few times, got to level 12 and even though I SHOULD level up the next time I get XP, I don't receive ANY XP for anything I used to (killing, lockpicking, stealing etc.).

Any ideas?

Can't even use the console to lower the values as my console doesn't work! XP Pro user with no other issues!

You should read a few messages earlier, you need to move the saves from saves\livename to just saves folder

Not only that, but the load time when starting the game decreased by 8sek.
Dont need windows live anyway, silly litle microsoft. ^^

I don't have a CAT file. It's not in the intstall directory and i can't find it anywhere. any idea's anyone?

Alright so,

I did all the rename the .cat file and move the saved game to the other folder. Yet even when doing that I'd crash one in awhile and I kinda wanted to get achievements. So I decided to move the saved game back to the LIVE save game folder and rename the .cat file back to .cat.

So I was playing and got to the part where I completed the Following In His Footsteps quest, beat it but got no achievement from it. Is my account messed up now (banned or whatever) or is there away to fix this? Or do I have to start a new game?
