Hey i tryed the ` for console to pop up but nothing im runing widows vista and have no clue how to make it apear any ideas?

it might not show but it's there. i have vista too and the console never shows up but i type in the god code and it works.

I had this problem when I tried to run the game at 1280 x 1024 (my monitors native res) and I couldn't see the console though the game look fine. dropped the game res to 1280 x 960 and I can see the console now. try a smaller resolution.

Still no go on the console i changed the resolution and tryed typing after i press the console key but nothing i the game on my laptop which is medeocre compared to my tower and it runs xp and console appears without a problem any ideas or am i just being stupid?

can't think of anything to help you guys other than trying to change resolution.

i know on my 1280x1024 resolution the console does not show but the codes input perfectly.

I run 1280x800 (16:10) and it shows up fine...

I'm also unable to pull up the console. NA DVD version.

Tilde key seems to have no effect. Hitting it followed by commands only results in whatever hotkey would result.

Change resolutions had no effect. Running in windowed had no effect.

fallout_deault.ini has:
bAllowConsole=1

I think the problem is either (a) the tilde key is not pathed to the console or (b) there's a problem using the tilde key for Vista users.

I seem to recall I initially had a problem opening the console in NWN on a Vista box, but can't recall how I repathed it.

Anyone know how to path pulling the console of another key?

Yeah I'm not able to get the console up either. It's really ****ing me off. Anyone know how to get it to work. I've tried all the tricks on this thread and nothing. Is it Vista? Or the 64 bit version of Vista maybe? It's terribly frustrating. Any help would be awesome.
