Hello all, i have a ati 4870 video card loaded with the hot fix for far cry 2. Is there anyone else having crashes with this card?

download the ATI hotfix for Far Cry 2. should fix any problems.

I run this game WITHOUT the hot fix in DX9 mode and haven't had a single crash with the 4870. This card does great in this game.

I too have a 4870 that constantly crashes in this game. I'm running DX10 mode, 8.10 drivers on Vista Ultimate 64 bit. Game will play fine for an hour or so, then I'll get a few artifacts and almost instantly the game crashes to the desktop. Where's this hotfix you mentioned at?

I use that hotfix on my 4870 from the beginning, but the game still crashes after an hour.
So the hotfix doesn't fix that problem.
