Far Cry 2 Message Board  

This game is incredible. From Previews to trailers..From intro movies to gameplay. This game is "censored" awesome. Driving is incredibly realistic and the enemies really react realisticly to gunshots and other stuff. The explosions are enormously realistic and it is as if you are in real life.

I'm guessing here but...I think it means he disagrees with you...but either feels its not worth his time arguing with you about it or he's just speechless because none of that is completely true.

Driving is incredibly realistic
Compared to other PS3 games maybe but I've experienced better. e.g. Project Torque, it's not perfect but it feels pretty accurate and the methods I use to drive in it translate to other games...counter steering is actually needed.

the enemies really react realisticly to gunshots and other stuff.
And also react to stuff they shouldn't as well.(Supposedly Silenced Pistol, Supposedly Silenced MP5)

The explosions are enormously realistic and it is as if you are in real lifeFor that to be accurate it would also need to blow up whatever is nearby i.e. buildings...trees etc.

I will add um realistic explosions? At best they are good not great not accurate, i mean if i throw 2 nades into the door way of a tin shack i expect the shack to be blown away and yet most of these still stand even after the fire is gone they are not even scorched, wat up with that. Now i would love to see the physic of MERC 2 and the sounds or at least most of the sounds from that game put in far cry 2 but Noooo. Oh well its still a fun game but to really experience this game get your self a Very high end gaming next gen pc then watch it all come to life.

One thing that bugs me about this game, it has animals in it but although you hear them you dont see them and that is monkeys and with the zebras and other big animals roaming the fields where is the lions elephants rhinos cheetas, i mean its Africa for **** sakes!!!!

ok enough ranting sorry i'll be going now.......

i have to totally agree with the two comment above. i really miss the elephants, lions and wolverines... anw, the driving its decent, pretty decent i should say for agame of this kind (at least its muuuuuuuuuuuuch better than Alone in the dark )
