I looked through the manual couldn't find an answer. Does it matter what character you choose to be? Do the choices have any plus/minuses?
What about the difficulty settings, no info on those either.
It does change who you first meet and the primary and secondary side arm you get.
For instance if you choose Hakim you get the G3k, the RPG and the MK23 in the beginning, Frank you get the AK, Flamethrower and MK23.
I'm not sure about the difficulty settings, but it probably just makes the game more challenging, for instance, the enemies have better weapons or armor.
don't think thats true.
i play with hakim and i got the flamethrower on start.
also i had to return to a previous savegame because of the problems with the first version of the trainer. after that the guy i met at mike's bar was different aswell. not the guy standing by the bar or sitting at the table but the other one (first one stood against the wall, second one walk in front of the door)
think it's all selected pretty random
It might randomly mix and match characters and effects then.
