Yes. I was a few hours into an easy level beginner city, when half my industrial area, including my power plant, just disappeared and became "mud." When I played SimCity on the PC, when something like that happened there was yelling and sirens and alerts popping up, but other than a ticker notice about there being no power, no one even seemed to notice.
Is this a glitch in the game, or just a poorly-designed natural disaster?
Edit: Well crap - sorry, I actually have SimCity DS, not Creator.

yeah in simcity creator if that happened then you would need to check your status list more often to see if your electricity and water supply is good enough.
