Ok, I used t-search. I'd like to explain that far cry 2 probably changes the diamonds memory address everytime it boots up so it won't be the same, that said, u can easily find it. When you search with an "exact value", as you test, you will see that the right address for the number you're looking for will not be similar to the other addresses. For example, I got 6 results with the amount I had in diamonds, 10 diamonds. Then I looked at them and only 2 of them we different from the others, meaning that I had a bunch of "15FE97E" then a digit or "377F3F4" then a digit. The two I decided to try were not in the same number range as the others. The diamond number for me was "18ED9490", once I changed it I noticed that the "377F3F4x"'s also changed, which means I had gotten the master address for that value for this runtime for farcry2. So, in the end, use t-search, when an "exact value" search, and try out the numbers which don't belong to any group, and if you get it right, some of the other numbers will also change with it.
P.S. If this didn't help and just confused you, I'm sorry.

the value will change, once your at the purchase PC buy something when your diamonds go down research the decreased value. The address will start with 19******. You should have 2. For instance my last search it was 190AE0B0. Hope this helps.

i use CoSMOS to search for the value of diamonds ingame, then change it [using about 3 scans in total](i presume tsearch uses the same technique). i looks like the value is different every time you run a new game, although i have not tested this hypothesis yet.

hmmm looks like if you go over 999 the display gets buggy. I don't think that would ruin a save but I wouldn't chance it. I would just lock the diamond count at 99 during purchases.

the main problem when you search to change amount of diamonds is buggy pc in weapon store. to find and change it you should try in way i describe below:
1. i had 8 diamonds, start t-search and find this value. 2. i buy something cheap in store and logout from pc. 3. then search again amount of diamond i had after purchase. 4. after while i had 6 adresses. change them and froze and then i have amount of diamond i need, even after load.
i think 2 of them are responsible for display, 2 for pc and 2 are for diamonds shown in statistic.
