I've heard lots of mixed reviews about this game.
If you've played it, would do you think?

Have it on rental on my 360 right now from gamefly. I played it for like 2 hours when I 1st got it and now its been sitting here for close to 2 weeks I havent touched it. Its not bad.. its just nothing monumental.

If you are a fan of the series play it (or of survival horror genre)... otherwise.. its not the end of the world if you miss it entirely. I myself am a big time fan of survival horror and I still dont feel pressed to play it.

The whole game is very interesting. I played it originally on Steam. Has a very curious storyline that kinda shocks you in the end, because it is pretty emotionally intense. That can be said for most all of the games in the series, but Homecoming has lost none of that intensity, even if some other gameplay aspects have been changed.
Give it a chance, especially if the format of RE4 or RE5 was enjoyable to you. Different ways of presenting the games, but I found nothing to particularly complain about, even if the enemies occasionally ****ed me off.

I played the PC version of the game, well PC has some problem with optimization and chrashing both it was fixed with a patch, as for the story..............well it's kind of strange, combat sistem is better than in other Silent Hill games, the game is lengty. My score is 7,3 for the PC, don't know about Xbox 360 or PS3
