It's sad that EA is the only major publisher that limits the number of installs for their PC games now. It started with Mass Effect and went on with Mercenaries 2, Crysis Warhead, and now C&C Red Alert 3.

imo this doesnt stop piracy, this stop retail purchases.. as they always find a way around things like this.

I dont see a problem, dont you just reactivate the game online if you go past the install limits or somthing?

I think you have to call them each time you want to reactivate after the installs are expired.

Damn realy wanted to buy that game -.- But i hate DRM :S
That is just excuse to limit fair users who pay for games -.- Because some of ppl just buy new game after the limitation is reached (they dont want to call support or whatever)
The games get cracked anyways after 1-2 days so that copyrights are useless. They should invest the money from DRM to development to get better games :S

DRM does not do anything to stop ppl from Dling a cracked copy of it i mean look at Far Cry 2 leaked on the net before the release date and cracked 2 days later that uses Securerom so it obviously does not work ill tell you all what ill do i will go buy the game b/c i played the beta and b/c i love the C&C Games but when a cracked copy comes up ill unintall it and install the cracked copy the reason being so i don't have to worry about DRM this si the same thing i did for BIOSHOCK i downloaded the game installed it loved the game so i ran out and bought it b/c good games deserve to be payed for when i got home i uninstalled the cracked copy of the game and restarted my computer i went to install the game with the real disc and 2 hours later i was calling tech support and i had to go into safemode to acctually install the game that i just went out and spent 50 bux on i told the Tech Rep that i had infact downloaded the game and that i dident have to deal with any of that after i got it installed it worked fine but come on we all know DRM doesnt do anything besides **** off the good paying customers of witch i am gladly a part timer

the DRM now is just stupid. wow so a CD key can't be used more than 3 times. okay? how does that stop anything? it dosen't since pirates can access all the possible keys using a keygen and then a cracked EXE and it works.
The only reason why DRM exists in games is to make stock holders happy and **** us over.
