Diablo 2 Message Board  

Hello! I've been playing Diablo 2 for quite some time now.. and I just recently got SCAMMED!!!

let me explain...

The Scam:

One player will create a new game entitled "FreeForYou,IQuit" (or something along those lines)
That Player will be very, very "godly", somewhere between lvl 81-99.
He will hire a mercenary, making her very "godly" as well.
He will run outside of the gates leaving her behind.
His "Buddy" will come into the game
They will WAIT until another character unsuspecting enters the game.
NOW, these two players will pretend to NOT know each other. (remember that)
The "godly" character and the lower lvl character will start talking about trading items IN FRONT of the third character.
The "Godly" character will ask the lower lvl character to show him which items he has.
the lower lvl charcter will drop EVERY LOW ITEM he has on the ground.
The Godly character will say "You know what, take this item for free"
It will be a very rare item he gives away.
The unsusspecting third character WILL SEE THIS and ask for free items as well.
The Godly character says "I dont know, you look pretty well dressed, let me see what you've got"
The third character, (YOU/ME) drops everything he/she is wearing at the time.

NOW...
The GODLY character WILL ATTACK YOU!!!!
thus making the MERCENARY ATTACK YOU!!!!!!
You will have NOTHING on to defend yourself.
Before you know it, AFTER THREE ARROWS, YOU-ARE-DEAD!!!
Once you recover, and try to run back to get your items...
The lower lvl character is already on his way to retrive them.
Stealing ALL your items/gear/EVERYTHING.
They WILL NOT give it back.
Thus Scamming you.

This is not a HACK, nor a CHEAT, it is a SCAM!!!!

I tell you to help you, Don't get suckered like I did.

PLEASE SEND THIS TO OTHER MESSAGE BOARDS,
I WANT EVERY D2 PLAYER TO KNOW ABOUT THIS!!!!!!

Awww dude you got scammed like this?Man that's too bad but what you have to know is don't trust anyone on the net...

I hate people trying to scam on diablo 2><

sand me your character data ad i will give you a set of special armor for the character you were using when you got scamed and i will send you a backup set of data as well, Hope this helps

I create custom weapons and armor if you loose any thing i might be able to recreate it PM me of email me your character data and a list of what you lost and i might be able to help
