I have the steam version and when I try to open the trainer it says it has a problem and needs to close I tried all the other trainers too and same thing happens, can any one help

Same issue atm. Currently have the trainer in the same directory as the .exe, and ran as administrator. Just comes up and says "Hinterland Trainer has stopped working. Check online etc etc or Close". Also cycled through each of the compatibility modes but same issue.
Also I am running Windows 7 not 8.

What version of IE is installed on your system (it does not matter if you do not use IE as your default)? If it is version 10 or higher, you need to rollback to a previous version.

It did have IE 11 turns out, uninstalled and show IE 9 is currently installed.... same issue, windows 7 & IE 9, trainer crashes on launch.
